With over two decades of experience in the fine wine industry, our founder James Pymont has honed his expertise across all aspects of the trade. His career includes tenures at esteemed merchants such as Corney & Barrow and Justerini & Brooks, and most recently 11 years as a founding member of a well-respected smaller independent, as buying and trading director.

With a home in Burgundy and spending as much time there as possible, both professionally and as a familly, naturally the wines of Burgundy are a large part of what we do. However James also has considerable expertese in regions such as Bordeaux, Rhone, Champagne, Tuscany, Piedmont, Oregon, California, and more. Further to this James has cultivated an extensive network of suppliers and clients, many of whom have become lifelong friends and as such the ethos of JP Fine Wines is to provide unparalleled service, closing the gap between producers and consumers for both private and trade clients.
